What the Price Is Asking

Match winner, set handicap, totals, props. The cards below are teaching examples, grouped by competition — not a live board.

The usual four

Match winner

Which side wins the match. The simplest expression of a view, and the one most sensitive to famous jerseys in five-set indoor play.

Set handicap

Usually −1.5 / +1.5. Indoors, a favorite must win 3–0 or 3–1. On the beach, −1.5 is a 2–0 sweep — a stricter ask.

Total points

Combined points across the match. Long rallies and 3–2 indoor nights push numbers up. Beach totals live in a different range entirely.

Player props

Aces, kills, blocks, and digs — more common on pro indoor and some college cards. Read them against this week’s rotation, not a season average.
